Upward Bound students from OSU-OKC organized a rally at the Oklahoma State Capitol to bring awareness to the problem of bullying. They did a tremendous job to shed some light on a serious issue. Their stories were both powerful and effective. See news coverage by clicking here.
We are pleased to announce that the registration for Student Leadership Conference 2010 is ready! All of the information that you need to know is here. This year’s theme is Show me the Money! The SLC committee will be focusing on financial literacy and leadership. There will be curriculum tracks for pre-college students and college students. We will be meeting on September 24-26, 2010 in beautiful Glen Rose, TX at RiverBend Retreat Center.
